Blooming Inspiration

A Weekend of Beauty, Art, and Blooming Inspiration in Himeville

There are moments when words fall short — when beauty is so abundant, so lovingly tended, that language can only circle around it in admiration. This past weekend was one of those moments.

We were exceptionally privileged to spend time with Anita and Tex Turton in the tranquil village of Himeville, KwaZulu-Natal. Alongside a passionate group of garden enthusiasts, they opened their breathtaking gardens to the public in support of Pevensey Place, Underberg - a cause close to many hearts in the community.

Stepping onto their property felt like entering a living canvas.

Rows of roses in their first flush spilled colour across the pathways. Towering rhododendrons, delicate hollyhocks, and an endless variety of flowering plants — tall, small, subtle, and bold - created a symphony of texture and tone. All of this was framed by meticulously manicured lawns, the kind only true devotion can produce.

Every corner seemed to hold its own story; every view offered another moment to pause, breathe, and appreciate.

To everyone involved, well done and to our gracious hosts, a heartfelt thank you. Your garden was truly picture perfect.

We also extend our heartfelt appreciation for the opportunity to exhibit a selection of Fine Arts 4 All artworks in such an extraordinary setting. Nature and creativity met seamlessly - a celebration of passion, craft, and the joy of sharing beauty.

It was, in every sense, a privilege.
