Collection: Di Lamble

I started my artistic journey by taking lessons with Caryn Nolan some 20 years ago.

I was encouraged to join the class by a friend, but not having held a paintbrush since Primary School, I regarded it as a social “tea party” event. Soon I became enraptured by the wonderous transformations of blank canvasses into objects with engaging stories and beauty by those around me, and I was smitten!

I later attended lessons by John Smith who played an important and meaningful role in my learning curve!

I am currently a student of Shirley Howells who has been my mentor, friend and role model for a number of years. Though her guidance, unfailing patience and encouragement I have grown in confidence, tried different approaches and styles to my artworks, and developed a love for the fine arts, which I hope to share with you.

I currently live in Scottburgh on the South Coast.
