At Fine Arts 4 All, we value the trust of both our artists and customers. As a platform supporting original artwork, we strive to ensure fair, clear, and transparent policies that respect the rights of all parties involved.
Artwork & Product Purchases | Quality Assurance
Every artwork sold through Fine Arts 4 All is carefully vetted to meet our quality expectations. In the unlikely event that you receive a damaged or defective item, you may be eligible for a return or refund in accordance with South African consumer law.
Under the Consumer Protection Act (Act 68 of 2008), consumers have the right to return unsafe or defective goods within six months of delivery.
Please note: As most artworks are original or made-to-order, returns are handled with sensitivity to both the buyer’s satisfaction and the artist’s rights.
Return Eligibility
You may be eligible for a return or refund within 7 days of receipt if:
- The item arrives damaged or defective.
- You receive the incorrect item.
In such cases, Fine Arts 4 All will cover the cost of return shipping via courier.
You may also return an artwork within 7 days if:
- You change your mind about the purchase.
However, in this case:
- Return courier costs are the responsibility of the buyer.
- The item must be unused, in original packaging, and in resaleable condition.
- Customised or personalised items cannot be returned unless defective.
Non-Returnable Items
Returns and refunds are not accepted for:
- Custom-made or personalised artworks.
- Items damaged due to mishandling, misuse, or normal wear and tear.
- Items altered or installed (e.g. framed, mounted, etc.) after receipt.
- Incorrect orders due to wrong information provided by the customer.
- Artwork sold as part of a promotion or marked as non-returnable (e.g. unboxed, shop-soiled, or discounted stock).
How to Request a Return or Refund
- Contact Us: Email info@finearts4all.com within 7 days of receiving your order. Include your order number, a description of the issue, and clear photos if the item is damaged or incorrect.
- Review: Our team will assess your request and may ask for the item to be returned for inspection.
- Return Instructions: If approved, we’ll send return instructions. Ensure the item is securely packaged, as damage during return shipping may affect eligibility.
- Resolution: Once we’ve received and reviewed the returned item, we will either issue a refund to your original payment method or arrange for a replacement, where applicable. Refunds may take 7–10 business days to process.
